Yeah, I’ve been playing a bit of Marvel Heroes. Got Alejandra (aka Ghost Rider) to level 60.
Compared to leveling Squirrel Girl, Alejandra was a breeze. Definitely can feel the difference with the addition experience bonus from having a previous leveled character. Each level 60 character, on the account, adds a synergistic experience bonus for all characters, making leveling easier as one progresses.
Gearing the character up after reaching max level, that is a different story. Like so many of these online only free to play games, end game is the beginning of a totally different experience, the hunt for best in slot loot!
In this game, to participate in the harder content, each character has to pass the Cosmic Trial. This unlocks all the cosmic content, which is where all the good stuff is to be found. But just hitting level 60 isn’t enough (for most characters) to pass it, gearing is required.
That is my current plan for Alejandra. Instead of going back and leveling new characters, I am going to take a bit of time and get some better gear for her. This way I can still participate in harder content if I so choose.
